What our product pages say about materials, and how to read them.
Materials as the maker states them
Each product page lists the body material exactly as the maker states it, for example "silicone" or "ABS with silicone". We do not add descriptions of our own, and we do not stock products whose maker lists jelly, PVC or no material at all. Where a maker uses a phrase we cannot support, the page records the plain material name and the maker's exact wording is kept in our own records.
What we do not claim
We make no medical, health or safety claims about any product or material. We do not describe products as safe for the body or suitable for any condition, because we are not in a position to verify such statements.
Power and water
Every powered product in the range charges over USB; none uses button or coin cells. A waterproof rating appears on a product page only when the maker publishes one. Where the maker says "waterproof" without a rating, the page says so and recommends rinsing rather than submerging.
Care
Each product page has a care note based on the maker's instructions: wash or wipe with warm water and a mild soap, keep charging contacts dry, and store dry. Silicone products should be kept away from silicone-based lubricants, which can degrade the surface.
Apps
Where a product is controlled from a phone app, the page names the app the maker specifies. We make no statement about the app's privacy or security; please read the app's own terms before pairing.
